It’s Valentine’s Day, of course I have to post songs about love. Rather than just simply post a “Love Song” I wanted to post a song simply about love—the ups, downs, unrequited, casual, whatever. Nothing too positive, but nothing too negative. Just love.
My head went straight to the often overlooked Howard Jones who has not 1 but 2 songs that fit the bill. And both from the 80s, which is always a plus.
The first song is from 1984’s Human Lib.
And maybe love is letting people be just what they want to be
